The first row of this table shows that 785 checks were done in total on the
streams from six different scanners. The Toronto scanner (Tor-2) and the New York scanner (NYC-1)
joined the game late so they didn't contribute as many checks to the total.
Normally, this would be a more even distribution but this was a report for internal use only. If it were a normal event report for a customer, we would have put more scanners on the job and also used more backbone scanners to balance out the end-point ones. From the last two rows in the table, you can see that 16 of the checks failed to connect to the streaming servers. This makes up 2% of the total 785 checks. NYC-1 stands out as a problematic scanner. I'll talk more about that later... |
