The company

Streamcheck is a company committed to being on the leading edge of stream performance
monitoring and measurement. Streamcheck was created by and is
operated by a team of streaming industry veterans dedicated to improving the streaming
experience for all users, corporate and consumer alike.
This is the key to unleashing the full potential of streaming media.

The technology

Since its launch, Streamcheck has performed over 10 million checks on streams of all types
covering every common format, codec and bitrate. The heart of the measurement process is Streamcheck's
"Scanner", proprietary software that mimics exactly the action of an end-user. Streamcheck doesn't
simulate a streaming session (like other systems), Streamcheck actually performs the full process of
connecting, buffering, playing, etc.
To a streaming server, the behavior of a Scanner is indistinguishable from an actual user.

Industry recognition

No measurement system has been used as widely as Streamcheck. In the last two years, Streamcheck has
monitored over 200 online radio stations, countless investor presentations, major live
events and thousands of news stories. Streamcheck is the only system currently in use to enforce
service level agreements (SLAs) for streaming performance. The world's largest content delivery
networks (CDNs) use Streamcheck to support SLAs, diagnose their systems, and demonstrate their
quality to customers.
Streamcheck is the de facto industry standard for streaming metrics.
